Synopsis
A series adaptation of James Patterson’s novel about the complicated and brilliant detective Alex Cross
Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which flopped at the box office and prompted Lionsgate to abandon their previously planned Double Cross sequel. While I’ve never read the source material from James Patterson’s books, I had heard of Alex Cross long before this television series began production.
It’s definitely something I knew I’d enjoy, and I dida lot
Aldis Hodge is an underrated, up-and-coming actress who absolutely delivers on the role of Alex Cross. The series follows Cross, who is a successful homicide detective and forensic psychologist in Washington.
He investigates victims to better understand who killed them
Here he tracks down a serial killer with his partner, John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), who is also tied to his past. In addition to being a detective, he is also a family man and is dedicated to being good at both.
Croce does that
The best thing about this show is that it is never boring. This is the minimum you expect from a show to keep you involved in the story and never get bored.
